The scientific research on the topic: „Economic problems of energy development – renewable energy sources and energy efficiency” is of theoretical and practical character. One of the most important aspects of energy production for overcoming the scarcity of raw materials is associated with the use of renewable energy sources. These sources are regarded as a key factor for switching to low carbon economies, ensuring security of energy supply, development of new high-tech industries and providing the so-called „Green growth”.
