Summary
Biofuels play an important role in the world energy policy. The problem is whether biofuel production is reasoned and whether it is a product, offering the humanity an energy source which is ecologically pure and environmentally-friendly.

The exhaustion of fossil fuels and the change in climate require, on the one hand, adequate decisions to preserve the environment for the future generations. On the other hand, the deepening world economic crisis, worldwide famine, the shortage of food and food products and their rising prices make it necessary to manage and utilize waste, an enormous source of which are agriculture and waste products (domestic, commercial, industrial, institutional, etc.)
