All processes and trends, that concern the different aspects of the new economy, the structural changes and the relations between them, are targets of the research work. The most important fields of that structural reform were sketched on the basis of the received findings.To occur obvious and positive change in the main macroeconomic indicators, towards their increase, in order to reach the European standards, the government bodies must focus their efforts exactly on these fields.
As a result of the carried out investigations, combining study of a significant volume of specialized literature, analysis of broad size statistics information and conduct of empirical inquiry, it was confirmed that our a priori scientific thesis that structural economic changes are major approach to realize the post-industrial society as exhausted their potential for prosperity of the population and does not meet its very high standard in every respect: the environment, labor conditions, incomes, education, health, culture, etc.

The rural tourism makes an important and increasing contribution to economic growth of Bulgaria. It also represents one of the best opportunities to create income and employment for rural areas in our country with various stages of development. The growth of tourism, however, cannot be taken for granted.
The present paper deals with economic subjects, working in the sector of rural tourism in the region “Central Stara Planina”, which innovation activity is influenced by the occurring dynamic market and product changes. The paper studies the conditions and factors, determining the innovation activity of defined economic subjects. The main aim of this research is to view and interpret basic theoretical-methodological formulations of the essence of innovations and in this context to offer indices, assessing the innovation activity of tourism enterprises, which, checked empirically in a certain degree, can help the choice of suitable management solutions. Therefore the fragment approbation of this indices are assumed as suitable for assessing the innovation activity of the economic subjects working in the studied sector. Important conclusions are drawn from the received research results.
Dynamics of innovation in the rural tourism brings new ideas, services and products to the marketplace. Encompassing the whole tourism value chain, innovation does not only mean adapting the tourism industry to the changing tourism patterns with new marketing strategies, but also fostering new and innovative services, products and processes. Innovation in tourism is to be seen as a permanent and dynamic process. Today, the economics of tourism allows suppliers to deal more effectively with the increasing complexity and diversity of consumer requirements.

The project explores the essence of quality in agribusiness, the rules its management through the introduction of standards - international, European harmonized, voluntary and mandatory, which are based on improving the competitiveness of companies Industry: ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ONSAS 18,000, ISO 22000, ISO 28000, HACCP, BRC Global Standard, IFS, EurepGap dr. Na and their basis is developed and integrated systems for quality management.
It also explores policy and EU competitive merit-based and aimed at supporting farmers' efforts in the fight for European quality, reflected by the "WHITE PAPER food safety" and 'GREEN PAPER on the quality of agricultural products » and concrete measures of common agricultural policy EU support for producers in that direction.
